The opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Business Transformation, we are seeking a Senior Director, Business Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that harness our Data Analytics, Automation, and AI platform to deliver measurable business value. In this role, you will identify high-impact opportunities, define business and technical requirements, design scalable processes, and drive adoption of data-driven, automated solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and outcomes.

You will own transformation initiatives end-to-end—from opportunity identification and business case development to process design, implementation, adoption, and performance tracking—ensuring they deliver sustainable improvements. Partnering closely with leaders across Data, Technology, Risk, Finance, Operations, and other business units, you will translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.

This role operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, offering the opportunity to shape how the organization leverages data, automation, and AI to drive performance, improve decision-making, and scale transformative solutions across the enterprise.

This is an existing, fully remote role based anywhere in Canada.

You thrive in applying AI and automation tools to solve complex problems, and are at the forefront of the latest tools and advances in the AI space.

You will influence process design, automation strategy, data utilization, and operating model improvements across multiple business functions.

Career development. This role provides broad exposure to enterprise operations, analytics, automation, and strategic initiatives. As the organization continues to expand its data, automation, and AI capabilities, this role will provide opportunities to grow into enterprise transformation leadership, strategy, or operational leadership roles with increasing scope and organizational impact.

You will:

  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives. You will identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities where data analytics, automation, or AI can improve operational efficiency, decision-making, or business outcomes. You will work with business leaders to define problems, quantify opportunities, and build business cases and implementation plans. You will lead initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption, ensuring measurable results are delivered.
  • Define business requirements and solution design. You will translate business needs into structured requirements, process designs, automation logic, and analytical use cases. You will document current-state and future-state processes, define controls and governance requirements, and support solution design in collaboration with Data and Technology teams.
  • Document and improve business processes and operating models. You will document and refine business processes, automation rules, controls, and target operating models. You will apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to eliminate waste, reduce manual work, and improve process consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate across Data, Technology, and business teams. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Technology, Risk, and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with governance and compliance requirements. You will partner on data platform initiatives, including data structures, integration patterns, and analytical models.
  • Drive adoption and change management. You will support implementation through training, communication, and change management activities to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and tools. You will track and communicate outcomes, including ROI, adoption metrics, performance improvements, and operational efficiency gains.

Here's what you bring:

  • The experience. You have experience leading transformation initiatives, business process improvement programs, or strategic analytics initiatives, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. You are comfortable working across business and technology teams to implement process, analytics, or automation solutions.
  • The process and transformation expertise. You have strong skills in business process mapping, requirements gathering, operating model design, and defining automation logic. You understand process improvement methodologies and have experience implementing workflow, automation, or analytics-driven process improvements.
  • The data and automation platform understanding. You have an understanding of data platforms and analytics tools, and experience working with data teams to define requirements for reporting, analytics, automation, or AI use cases. Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake is considered an asset.
  • The stakeholder leadership capability. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and are comfortable influencing leaders and working across cross-functional teams. You can translate technical concepts into business language and align teams around common goals and outcomes.
  • The delivery mindset. You have demonstrated experience delivering complex initiatives and driving change across organizations. You are structured, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $175K – $180K. The salary will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
