The opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Data & AI Lead, we are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence & AI Analyst to advance our data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities. In this role, you will leverage the WELL Intelligence Platform to support enterprise reporting, generate insights, and enable more data-driven decision-making.

Working closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, AI Automation Engineers, and Cloud Engineering teams, you will translate business needs into dashboards, KPIs, analytical models, and AI-enabled insight capabilities that create measurable enterprise value. You will support stakeholders across Finance, HR, Legal, M&A, Clinic Operations, and other functions by delivering insights that improve decisions, identify risks, and drive operational and strategic outcomes.

You will also play a key role in establishing the WELL Intelligence Platform as the single source of truth for enterprise metrics and decisions, while enabling self-serve reporting so the business can move with greater speed and confidence.

This is an existing, fully remote role based anywhere in Canada.

Who you are

You’re currently in a BI or analytics role, building dashboards and reports, and are ready to step into a higher-ownership role focused on problem-solving and insight generation.

You are excited by the opportunity to be “the” BI and analytics resource in a lean, fast-moving team,  where you can build solutions from the ground up. You focus on solving business problems, not just producing reports.

You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities. You are motivated toward a dynamic, growth-focused organization where you can have a visible impact.

What’s in it for you

Be at the forefront of AI-driven analytics.  You will move beyond traditional dashboard building to proactive, AI-enabled problem solving, using tools like ChatGPT to analyze complex datasets in hours, while shaping how AI is applied to real business decisions.

Own and build. You will step into a high-ownership role as the BI and AI expert, with the opportunity to build solutions from scratch and shape how analytics is delivered across the business. You will define how analytics is delivered and how insights drive the business forward. Your work will solve real business problems, from clinic performance to workforce insight.

Exposure and skills development. You will work across multiple business units and technologies, gaining exposure to AI-driven solutions, EMRs, and evolving digital health platforms. You will expand beyond traditional BI in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment, with mentorship and support to strengthen your problem framing, influence, and ability to deliver impactful insights.

Career growth. You will grow beyond execution into strategic problem-solving and business partnership. As WELL scales its AI capabilities, you’ll have a clear path to grow into AI and data leadership, with opportunities to take on greater ownership, lead analytics initiatives, or contribute to broader transformation efforts.

You will:

  • Partner to define and prioritize. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify high-impact reporting, analytics, and AI use cases aligned to the WELL Intelligence Platform roadmap. You will help assess value and feasibility, and manage a backlog of requests across HR, Finance, Clinics, and Leadership to ensure focus on business impact.
  • Translate business needs into insight. You will turn complex business questions into structured analytical approaches, designing KPIs, dashboards, reports, and AI-assisted insight solutions that support decision-making and accountability. You will work directly with stakeholders to frame problems, refine questions and validate direction.
  • Design and deliver intelligence. You will build and maintain scalable BI outputs, including dashboards, scorecards, and reporting layers that enable performance management across corporate and operational functions. You will develop automated reporting to support ongoing monitoring and decision-making.
  • Leverage AI tools for rapid analysis. You will work across multiple enterprise data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations. You will leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilots to accelerate analysis of large datasets, shifting away from manual, spreadsheet-heavy work, while validating outputs for accuracy and relevance.
  • Advance insight capabilities. You will contribute to the evolution of reporting and analytics by enabling drill-down insights, natural-language querying, predictive analytics, and scenario modelling. You will help design and develop AI-assisted self-serve solutions, including chatbot-style interfaces that enable stakeholders to access insights independently.
  • Collaborate across data and AI teams. You will partner with Data Engineering and Data Services teams to define data requirements, validate data quality, and ensure outputs are trusted and timely. You will support refinement of datasets, improve accessibility, and scale reusable analytics solutions. You will work alongside automation and AI teams to integrate analytics into workflows and emerging agentic solutions, improving efficiency and decision-making.
  • Communicate insights with impact. You will present analysis, recommendations, and performance insights to operational leaders and executive stakeholders. You will engage stakeholders throughout the process, from discovery through iterative check-ins to final presentations, ensuring that insights are actionable and adopted.
  • Drive adoption and data literacy. You will define and maintain KPI logic, business rules, and reporting standards, ensuring consistency and trusted use of data.  You will support adoption of the WELL Intelligence Platform by enabling self-serve reporting, promoting data literacy and responsible use of AI.

Here’s what you bring:

  • The experience. You bring experience in business intelligence and analytics, with a track record of building dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs that support decision-making. You are highly structured in your thinking, able to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and generate practical, data-driven recommendations. You can connect data insights to real operational and financial outcomes.
  • The technical capability. You are proficient in Power BI and Excel, with solid SQL skills for working with large datasets. Familiarity with Python is a bonus. You are comfortable working across modern data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric) and can navigate and analyze complex data structures.
  • The AI-first mindset. You are comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and are motivated to deepen your capability in this space. You understand that prompt engineering and problem framing are critical skills, and you prioritize leveraging AI to accelerate analysis over manual, spreadsheet-driven approaches.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can bridge the gap between business needs and analytical solutions, for both technical and non-technical audiences. You confidently engage stakeholders, lead conversations and build trusted relationships across functions. You are proactive, self-directed, and motivated by autonomy, yet highly collaborative in a cross-functional environment.
